9 of the top 10 Cryptocurrencies have seen gains today.

 

Bitcoin Cash

Bitcoin Cash is currently trading at $1349 following a successful hard fork yesterday. The main rival to Bitcoin has been extremely volatile over the past few days as its battle with Bitcoin continues.

 

The hard fork (which is essentially an upgrade), has meant that miners involved in securing its blockchain will be rewarded more generously than they had been previously. Miners are currently switching between Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash. Whilst this ‘civil war’ continues we expect both coins to remain volatile (more news to follow).

 

Ethereum 

Ethereum has risen by over 5% today and currently trades at $332. Vitalik Buterin, Co-founder of Ethereum spoke at the Devcon3 conference last week. See here for further information.

 

Ripple’s XRP

XRP is currently up just under 3% today. XRP’s price has been ‘stuck’ at around the 19/20 cents mark for a while now.

 

EOS 

EOS has climbed a massive 26% today, and as mentioned previously is definitely one to keep an eye on. The team behind EOS are working extremely hard – we would not be surprised to see the price continuing to climb.
